1、一般現在時
A、用法
①表示現階段經常性、習慣性的動作;
②表示現階段經常性、習慣性存在的狀態；
③表示客觀真理;
④表示格言或警句中。
He usually goes to school by bus.
The sky is blue.
The earth moves around the sun.
Shanghai lies in the east of China.
Pride goes before a fall. 驕者必敗。
B、常用的時間狀語
often, usually, always, every morning/night/evening/day/week and so on.
2、一般過去時
A、用法
①表示過去某個時間發生的事;
②表示表示過去某個時間存在的狀態；
③表示過去反復發生的動作。
I saw a very good film yesterday.
It was very cold last night.
B、常用的時間狀語
yesterday, yesterday morning/afternoon/evening, last week/month/year, in 1980 and so on.
3、一般過去時
A、用法
①表示在將來某個時間要發生的事;
②表示表示在將來某個時間存在的狀態；
Mrs Wu will teach us English this term.
I will go back to my hometown tomorrow.
B、具體表現形式
①助動詞will＋動詞原形
We won’t leave before eight.
②be going to do sth.表示即將發生某事或打算、計劃要做某事。
I’m going to do my homework this evening.
③come, start,go ,move, leave, travel等動詞常用進行時態表示按計劃將要發生的事。
They are going for two months.
C、常用的時間狀語
Tomorrow, tomorrow morning/afternoon/evening, next week/month/year and so on.
3、現在進行時
A、用法
①表示正在進行的動作
②構成：be（am, is, are）＋動詞現在分詞
I am reading a book.
What are you doing?
B、常用的時間狀語
now, this moment, at present and so on.
