核心知識
1．語法：由whether或if引導的賓語從句。
二者均表“是否”，均可用來引導賓語從句，賓語從句要用陳述語序。
e．g： Tom asked me whether/if I liked the twins.
注意：1)if可以引導賓語從句，也可以引導條件狀語從句，而whether不可。
e．g： I’ ll go to the park if it doesn’ t rain tomorrow.
2)whether可置于句首，而if則不能。
e．g：Whether he will be back tomorrow remains a question.
3)從句中帶有or not時，用whether，不用if.
e．g：I don’ t know whether he will come or not.
4)在動詞不定式前只能用whether. 不用if.
Please tell me whether to go or to stay.
2．so it is：表“是的，的確這樣”。
so可用來代替上文中的形容詞，名詞或動詞，表贊同。句型為So+主語+助動詞、情態動詞。
e. g：“It was cold yesterday. ”“So it was
昨天很冷。的確很冷。
注意區分so+助動詞+主語表“…也是”。
e. g．：He is a doctor．So is my sister.
3．lonely與alone.
Lonely意為“孤獨的”。強調主觀感受作形容詞，可作表語和定語。
e. g．I feel lonely. 我感到孤獨。
He’ s a lonely traveller. 他是個孤獨的旅行者。
alone：意為“單獨的”強調客觀上獨自、可作形容詞或副詞。
e. g．He likes living alone．He doesn’ t feel lonely.
4．get on with：”與…相處”
get on well with sb. 意為“與…相處融洽”。
get on well with．sth. “…進展(順利)”。
e．g：I’ m getting on well with my classmates.
我和我的同學們相處得很融洽。
How are you getting on with your work?
你的工作進展如何?
5．try on：“試穿”
形式有try on sth和try sth on，當sth是由代詞代替時，只能放在try與on中間?
Please try it on. 請試穿一下吧!
6．I can’ t decide which sweater to buy.
我不能決定要買哪件毛衣。
“Which sweater to buy”是decide的賓語。在show．know, tell teach．find out．learn forget．decide等動詞后面，常用“疑問代詞或副詞+不定式”作賓語。
e. g：I don’ t know how to get to the post office.
我不知怎樣去郵局。
Can your tell me when to start.
你能告訴我何時出發嗎?
