　　Harmony with the environment is that we live in on Earth, who is a natural son, and not only to natural persons as the conqueror, as we all know, there is only one earth and the mountains on Earth, the animals.

　　In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.There are still many problems of enviromental protection in recent years. 　　“家園只有一個，地球不能克隆”這句話說的十分正確。是的，我們的家園只有一個，保護和愛護家園是我們大家的責任。可有人，卻故意去破壞環境，傷害我們的家園，傷害我們的地球母親。

　　在大年初一那一天，我們去市民廣場玩，當時我以為自己走錯了地方：往日那里綠草如茵，時不時還能看見花蝴蝶在五彩繽紛的花叢中穿梭著，翩翩起舞著；人們則會坐在石凳上聊天享受著舒適的日光浴；周圍的一切是那么的'整潔舒暢。

如詩如畫的景象頓時灰飛煙盡。那天的市民廣場人山人海，地面鋪上一層厚厚的五顏六色地毯——全是垃圾，而這些垃圾給清潔工們增加繁重的工作量。在那里，我還看見了很多只久違的蒼蠅、蚊子也過來湊熱鬧，現在可是大冬天。草地上也布滿了垃圾，一陣風吹來，垃圾就到處飛揚，臭氣裝滿了整個廣場，簡直就是垃圾場。

　　現在，臘梅花已經露出了燦爛的笑臉，與此同時，地上的小草也正在拼命探出嫩綠的腦袋。而人們為了欣賞臘梅花，卻忽視了地上的小草，亂扔垃圾的同時還腳腳踐踏著它們，有些人還摘幾朵臘梅花拿在手里玩耍或拍照，真是讓人忍無可忍。

We did not see any fish in the river. The fiver was not so clear as before. Water quality was very bad. I am worried about it because water is important to all living things. Man can not live without water. I hope people pay more attention to this problem, especially the government. Try to control the pollution of water as early as possible.

　　鏡湖在蕪湖市可是個家喻戶曉的地方，外地人來蕪湖必看的一景。現在的鏡湖風景優美，是市民休閑的好去處。可你知道以前的鏡湖是什么樣子嗎？聽我給你講講吧。

　　在上世紀90年代中后期，鏡湖的水體呈高富營養化狀態，水質嚴重惡化，水變成了黃色。惡化的原因主要有：蕪湖市某醫院通過地下水道將大量未經處理的污物、污水直接排進了鏡湖；部分素質不高的市民往鏡湖里倒垃圾；最可氣的是鏡湖風景區的某些工作人員竟然在鏡湖里洗拖把！慢慢地，鏡湖水變成了黃色，湖面上漂浮著許多垃圾，還散發著一股臭味。來到鏡湖邊的人們都捂著鼻子跑開了，嘴里還不停地說：“真臭！臭死了！”

　　一九九九年DDD二０００年，蕪湖市人民政府號召全市人民清理鏡湖。首先，工作人員用機器將湖水抽干，再由黨員帶頭和市民們一起挖掉淤泥，最后注入清澈的水。我外公是黨員，他有著親身體驗，外公說，那次勞動很累，但改善了鏡湖的水質，大伙兒都感到很高興。

　　現在人們的.環保意識增強了，再也沒有人往鏡湖里扔垃圾、排污水了。當你來到鏡湖時，你會看到一片清澈的湖水，水底游來游去的小魚，湖水旁婀娜的垂柳和剛長出來的青青的小草。
